They have came up with that they have updated many of them. But as usual, very vague, and nothing is specific.

Which brings me back to another post we had. Creating new accounts JUST to see how they changed everything and help document them.

Not to mention see if gameplay is a bit more fun or idiotic depending on what they did for "requirements."

Yeah, when you go on a server and earn a few points you should get an award or two. I'm still currently downloading the patch as we speak. I'm just looking to see what awards/ranks etc people have recieved (more specifically ones that really surprised them)
It's also to stop shitloads of topics springing up with "i got this and i'm only blah points"

I am consistantly amazed at the complete and utter stupidity of the people 'fixing' things at EA/DICE.

First of all, I cannot even install the new patch because it does not allow me to choose a drive to uncompress files to. My temp drive isn't even on C:\ but for some reason the patch refuses to uncompress files anywhere else. Watching both Afrojap and Chuy play with the patch I am rather dissappointed with what they changed anyway. A tag prefix that doesn't cache and so you have to enter it each and every time you play?! Not only did they not actually fix the problem of not being able to rename your account, they can't even implement their solution properly. WTF! The server browser is still horribly fucked up and unusable. Giving people an excess of ranks for no reason is just plain silly, and now the unlocks will just be normal guns that everyone will have. Being a corporal after 1 full day of play is simply going to the other extreme... find the middle ground EA!

The thing that tipped me off was when someone said "I'm downloading the new patch at the moment"...I immediately thought 1.3 had been released without my noticing it, but checked the time stamp of the post and sure enough! October!
