POE will have a rank i guess... but it will be different from ur normal bf2 rank... i heard its gonna have its own ranking system.

Originally a very popular BF Vietnam mod, being upgraded to work for the BF2 engine.
The question is whether POE for BF2 will incorporate a ranking system....
From what i know, they can't use the EA rankings, because it is a non-EA/DICE mod. Think i read somewhere that they want to incorporate some ranking system, but were working on how to implement it server side etc.

actually originally a BFV mod.and its not being upgraded, it is not the same mod as the bfv version ( difrent armies blahblahblah)

POE won't use the GameSpy ranking servers, but the fellows at Alternate Battlefield Rankings could talk with the POE devs about setting up a rank system. From what I've seen, it is generally frowned upon by the community though, who seem to think that the BF2 ranking system is the worst thing since the black death.
