I like that there's so many shite medics. I've been playing Wake non-stop for a few days now and I'm top of the team each round (the losing team mind you) with an average of 60 and I get SO many points from revives and healing.

So anyway, there I am running shooting healing reviving shooting, and I run out of ammo. I go prone RIGHT IN THE FUCKING FACE of a support guy on my squad and start spamming 'need ammo'. I'm shouting on comms and nothing. Problem is, they guy is actually moving so he aint AFK. So I knife him and revive him, he gets on comms screaming 'ftw fag?!?'

5 bronze, 3 silver, pistol basic and veteran medic over the last two days. If only I was on the winning team I could have done more. I'm so happy with myself!

Hehe...As far as my experience goes, it's the opposite.  At least when it comes to karkand.  I can't be healed (which is great) or revived (which can get bloody annoying) enough.  There have been times that I've prayed to the gods, did a rain dance and talked to the screen...all in the hopes that I would not be revived.

The reason being.  I would be lying face down on the concrete and sure enough, medics would make like a bunch of Rambo's and come charging in to revive me.  Which is all well and good, but when certain doom is only two inches away in the form of a friggin tank and an apc!!  My question to all the medics out there is why do you choose to make us your personal reviving pinyatta.
this reminds me of when i played in karkand a week ago.  i was killed by an APC and there was a nub medic just behind cove, whenever i was killed i was instantly revived and intantly killed again.  repeat literally 7 or 8 times.

well once i got lucky enough to stay alive just long enough to kill this medic, take his kit and revive him making him an AT.

anyway, if you look at my stats i am usually a medic and i always drop health if the guy is near enough to me.  when i revive someone, i do it once and if he is instantly killed, i leave him there and kill what killed him first.

Reviving you constantly gives me points, doesn't affect you in the number of times you dies, but gives the other team the kill points.

Sounds good to me :thumb:

No offense mate, but if I understand you correctly and I think that I do.  I loathe medics of your kind.  It's selfish and annoying no matter which way you look at it.  It should be very simple...Assess the situation and understand the pros and cons of your actions.  Sure, reviving someone will give you points but then that teammate of yours is getting killed more than six ways to sunday, not to mention your team is loosing tickets while you're busy point farming.  All this isn't helping anyone on your team.  You included!!

Also...yes it does affect us in "the number of time you dies."  It makes us wanna hunt you down and blow your head off every single time we come across you.

I aint the best medic, but Im smart to know that if theres a tank down the road, more or less its the reason that you died in the first place, I will not go and revive you.  I throw down my med packs for people to pick up, I hardly ever get any ammo (medic whores on Kark man), I try to play nice and fair but you know theres those people who dont and they get away with it.

Yeah if you revive me in the middle of a road and tank kills me again and you repeat this process it may not effect my game deaths, but it might effect your real life health.

I try to roll with good people.  I'll look into a squad and see if theyre good people before I join them.  Most of them are.  Sometimes I'll get stuck with a bad squad, and they wont resupply or heal me, so I just leave them.  No sense in killing them for some ammo.

Whoa, let me be clear. There's no point farming coming from me. I usually learn very quickly that if I revive you and you get killed straight away that I should clear the area first. Often what happens though is There's three hostiles nearby and I need some backup so I'm hoping you'll get revived and cane a few of them.

Still learning the game as I am I am unaware of a tactic (other than killing all three while smoking a cigarette and chewing bubblegum) to cover this type of situation.

Honestly, check my stats! I'm a team player!

Apologies for jumping the gun.  But with what you wrote previously and the way you wrote it, I'm sure you can understand my misunderstanding.  If that's the case, I can understand where you're coming from.

Pfft, I'm a forum troll from way back. Don't worry about jumping the gun, I can take it.
