Has anyone else had problems with Norton in Battlefield?  Norton restarts my computer every few server changes because I think it thinks BF2 is a worm or something.  ANyone else have any problems with Norton, and if so, how did you fix them?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try the SEARCH button up top... I vaguely remember a thread about norton around here a couple months back but I'm too lazy to search for it myself.  To my recollection the user was able to post a solution.

Turn it off when you go to play.  If you have the icon in your taskbar, just right click it and click disable.  Then enable it when you are done.  That is what I did, until Norton's started telling me I had not updated every 10 seconds.

I suggest get something else instead of Norton--get Pc Cillin or ZoneAlarm those are the top 2 ones, norton slws ur whole PC down when u use it..... had it before.

Yeah, I tried disabling Norton, didn't work....still said it restarted my computer because it blocked a worm.  Just uninstalled Norton and got AVG antivirus, which I've heard good things about.

Disabling works for me and also improves the game's performance.

AVG works pretty well but watch for it trying to scan your HD(s) every time you boot the computer, you can't disable this as far as I know so you have to stop it manually each time if you don't want to wait for it to complete.
