the G36E isnt an assault rifle, its a autokiller.
best thing is to not shoot for accuracy. just shoot them until they die, or until they kill you

The PKM still has horrible sprint distance and the need to prone before hitting much.
To the person who asked which rifle is better, the F2000 or the G3.. I suppose the F2000. The G3 is better if you can stay shooting purely at long/medium range. The F2000 handles all distances well, but not medium/long as well as the G3.
Someone said the M16 was good - its similar to the G36E really, but has a little less damage (so needs an extra bullet to kill armour) as well as less accuracy, not enough IMO to make up for the burst fire.
Anyway, here are the other few assault rifles:
L85A2 and SCAR-H: Grouped together since they are practically the same gun. They have almost everything the same, the only difference is the scopes. The SCAR, being an SF weapon, can only be put against the G3. On night maps, the laser dot scope works very well with night vision, so it's worth using. With day maps, you'll find the accuracy lacking in favour fo the G3. The L85A2 can be switched for the F2000 or the G3. Since its essentially a copy of the F2000 in stats, but without the scope, you may as well use the 2000. However, if you are in the EU army, a much better choice is:
FAMAS: If you've always wished the G36E had a scope and full auto, here it is. Plus, it can switch back to burst fire mode. Always try to crouch when using though, as the standing recoil is slightly high.
