ive been wearing the fuckers since 3rd grade. Cant blame it on computer games, only thinkg runnign were 8088's.
I always have to wear my glasses permanently since i was like 8 years old. That was before i became a pro gamer but my eyes do deteriorate a bit and they can get a bit blurred staring at the monitor. Ah well i dont think you guys want my life story so i will shut up now

The only thing i've noticed is that sometimes, when i spend soooo many hours on my pc over a few days, my eyes sometiems go slightly bloodshocked for a day, but doesn't affect my actual vision in the slightest. :S

Hmm the opticians have told me i cant wear contact lenses while looking at the screen, I cant remember why, he told me my glasses needed to be like anti reflectant or something just to stop my eyes from getting bad while on the computer.

The old style monitors, CRT's, shoot out radiation into your eyes. Its a very low level, but if you have glasses on they magnify the effect. If you must wear glasses to play video games then you must have a flat panel because they do not emit radiation into your eyes. Actually, you should just get a flat panel anyway.

Yes, staring at a computer screen day in, day out will earn you glasses as your vision will switch from Long to Short, and it will be harder to see at distance.
This is nothing against computers, the same thing happens if you read too much, or are into model making. Any overdose of short-visioned activity tends to do this.
