5 Road Kills While IN Transport

What exactly must you do to achieve this task? I have done 5 kills in the lav, apc, humvee, vodnik. I have tried to do it from the blackhawk or transport helicopter on MEC, but no luck. I am thinking from other posts about this, that the new patch has screwed this up. So now the second question....Has anyone received thier veteran transport badge since the new patch...basically mid March to now?

someone told me a road kill is when you kill someone with something your not using. like if your in using a PKM and you unload on a Vodnik and just before it blows up the driver and passengers bail out and then the car explodes and they die and it says *your name here* [Vodnik] *there name here* then that is a road kill.

also running people over counts as one. I think that is what it is

Can anyone validate for me?

FAV's (buggy's)
DPV's aka heavy jeeps (Hummers, Vodniks, NJ 2046)
Boats

not transports
LAV's and APC's are the same thing and they count as armor
transport choppers like the Z-8, blackhawk and MI-17 are counted as helicopters.

road kills are indirect kills,

meaning explosions from them and a troop dying as a result of the blast, running them over... etc.

This is correct. Get in one of the fast buggys and go out for a Sunday hit-and-run.

I got mine on Warlord with that sweet ass AIL RAIDER. that's a beast. It can make 2 atvs blow up before having to use a new one. I dont think there is anything wrong with the requirements though. Just try again, its a fun one to get.

This also works for the J-10, u have 20 people standing around waiting for 2 jets. It's a target rich environment for road kills.

A good vechile for this is the ATV which can be found in the special forces maps, its very fast and you can evade tanks easily.

Dude, Dalian plant or Daqing Oil Fields... boost a DPV or FAV and just drive the whole round head hunting. Both maps are good for road kills cuz the buggy's are fast and there is plenty of room to gain speed. Just got my vet badge on Monday playing Dalian. I did make sure it was a fairly quiet server though (42/64) just to make sure there was enough time for me to get 5 road kills... ended up getting around 7 or 8 before I went back to conventional play.
