I notice this site just changed the requirments on the service ribbons from 5 hrs to 100 hours? Is this correct? Becuase I am noticing people getting these ribbons with 50 hours on their stats and less than 100.

Most of Mine came up at 50 Hours. but my MECSF ribbon did NOT... (GOt all the others and dont have 100 Houirs in any SF Theater yet...)

According to bf2player SF service ribbons are 50 hours time in theater and have to have played every map the team is on.

and I just got my Spetsnaz Service Ribbon,it's 50 hours in theater and 1 second on every map of the theater.
There's a distinction between Army stats and Time in Theater stats,if you got 50 hours in theater with an army you get the ribbon accordingly.So if you play Ghost Town a lot you'll get your SAS and Spetsnaz ribbons really quick because the clock runs for both armies when you play in the theater.
That means that if you already got the Spetsnaz ribbon but still need the Rebels ribbon you don't have to play Rebels all the time on Surge and Mass Destruction.

almost 51 in the theater and 25+ in MecSF army... No Ribbon...
Wow thats weird man u have 50 hours in theater. I was thinking u might need a 100 Brs. but that doesn't work because u have the seals ribbon. Dunno man.
I know.. Its strange.... I was expecting the MECSF Ribbon when the Insurgent ribbon popped into my stats..... Dont even have 50 hours inthat theater yet.... QUite odd these ribbons are.
i'm the same, got the seals ribbon but not the mecsf - and they only fight each other
got the seals ribbon while playing as mecsf so it was wtf?
i have less wins as mecsf (49) vs seals (69 now not sure what it was was when it was won) so it could be 50 wins as well
