They lie. They just want you to buy the detailed results. LOL.

You sure about that?
(though my test, the maximum was 145 so I suppose I can't complain)
A. How much do they cost?
B. Where can I get it (since you're in the same city)?
but i got it done when i was seeing a counsellor to try to stop my bad road rage (tuggers parkway in peak hour, you understand)
cant remember how much, wasnt much though.
i think most counsellors do it.

Oh, and spelling is no sign of 'IQ' as it were, if 'IQ' even exists. 'IQ' tests a bit of human nature, bit relies a lot on learning principles, such as those learned in school. I believe (as posted above) that 'IQ' is impracticle and pointless.Tyferra wrote:
152?? That's like supergenius, and THA, you don't look too much like a supergenious bro.
I got mine from a shrink. My parents sent me there to... well, I'm not exactly sure why they sent me there. There was probably something seriously wrong though knowing me.
Anyway, she said it cost over 200 bucks to get one of the IQ test 'kits', but you can use them for a year before the IQ test place changes them. To take it cost me about $300 with just paying her for the hour long appointments it took to finish the damn thing.
Still, my parents and health insurance was paying so it dosn't really matter.
Edit: Look at that, I spelled Genius with an o. This is really the wrong thread to do that on, especially after skiting about my oh so brilliant 124 IQ.
As am I... (age)TheDarkRaven wrote:
I have scored a 155, but I too believe like some of you that so called 'IQ' tests are irrelevant and pointless. For a 'IQ' test to be comparative, which is it's inherent function, everyone should take the same test. Otherwise there is more than one independant variable, and the test is no longer fair and accurate. I know that I am 'clever', some may say 'gifted', but I do not care much for these 'office politics' ideas. I do what I feel is right, and I think what I feel. And so is my life of philosophy and regret.
Always nice to discuss something,
Raven
EDIT: By the way, some of you may be interested to know that I am only 14.

I got a 66 on the ASVAB the first time I took it in July 2001. My GT was 113, so it was high enough to secure the MOS I wanted. I had been sitting in San Jose MEPS for 11 hours waiting to take the computerized version. Then I was answering some mathematical related questions and realized there was no way to go back and change my answer. Lameness... I re-took the ASVAB (pencil and paper version) in 2004 to see if I could re-enlist. I scored higher.GunSlinger OIF II wrote:
