Sharqi and Zatar are very biased towards MEC, try those.

Sharqi,  plain and simple.  MEC has uncappables,  once they capture the 1st spawn point, usually they just roll through all the way to the TV station.

Also,  their assets are in different areas,  compared to the assets all in TV station.

Also MEC has an extra APC compared to the US which dont have armor.
When I'm playing with a few guys on TS we usually take the TV station within the first 3-5 minutes of play, and rarely let them have it back.
Once the USMC lose the tv station there pretty much screwed. not only lose all assets instantly but now MEC has spawns on each end of the map and USMC lose the AH-1z and armor. tv station is a key flag to take as MEC.

1. Sharqi : When the USMC loses the TV-station you can't get the MEC out of there, the stairways are always pretty well covered with claymores.Without the TV-station the US don't have a solid base, when the MEC team takes the hotel and the northern point of the map the US have to spawn in the middle of the map and can be attacked from all sides.

2. Gulf of Oman : The Arabian Wake,if you do it right.
All people who don't fly get a tank or APC and attack the 4 US-flags on the beach, the airsupport keeps the blackhawks, cobras and jets away from the inner flags. When you get them down to 1 or 2 flags on the beach they are pretty much defeated, the arty is easily destroyed because it's right at the beach.Best case scenario is MEC holds all flags on land and keeps on carrierraping(which is totally legit when the US-team plays so badly that they lose all flags on land.

3. Kubra Dam : Most of the US team camps at the airfield anyway because walking really is a bitch on this map,if MEC concentrate their fire on the alleyway which leads out of the US-base the tanks have a pretty tough time leaving their own base, the sideroads must be covered with snipers so no lone infantry slips trough and if the airsupport is also there when needed the US mostly don't get a single flag on this map.

But it all depends on your team aswell,no winning with a sh1tty team...

Ive won more with USMC on Kubra. If the MEC losed the airfield there fuxed. with no airsupport USMC pilots pretty much whipe out MEC armor. And without an uncap MEC has nothing to fall back on. Once MEC is down to 1 or 2 flags they just get pwned by repeted bombings and baserape.

Not that i've never seen USMC lose Kubra, but it's rare. the team has to totally suck. Mec armor sitting at USMC exits are sitting ducks the jets, it's not really a good idea.

Pending on houres and wins, you got to go on your golden shanklar, or what ever what ever you after, I find it better to play 16 player maps on the side that you need. That's how I got my navy cross and mec service medal.

Sharqi is almost MEC win by default. You have to have a surpurb US team to win on Sharqi. Opposite goes for Karkand. Only a really bad US team should ever loose a Karkand round.

Oman.  MEC has air superiority with the Mig-29, bombing superiority with the SU-34, an attack chopper with great gunner splash damage (at the start 5 APC's and 2 tanks), and an uncappable base on the mainland.

If the team works well together, the Mig will keep the F-35's off the SU-34's tail and MEC will have no problem driving USMC back to the carrier.  Once MEC captures all of the CP's, it's over.

I agree with a lot of you, here are some details...

if u want MEC wins, do the following.

Sharqi

Get in the chopper. Gain tons of altitude. wait for their chopper to be spotted. slowly move in its direction until visible and then stop. your gunner will begin shredding it with incendiary shells or with any skill at all, the TV (its machine guns are worthless compared with yours). Absolutely do not lose altitude. once its dead, return for repairs, or head directly to TV station and wait on the far side for those would-be whores to spawn.

repeat.

if your lazy teamates feel like it, they could easily cap the TV station during this process, crippling the USMC odds. congrats your team is definitely going to win if u keep this whoring up (your gunner will need to be paying a little attention but it isnt hard). once you learn evasives, etc, u can also stalk the rest of the city racking up kills during their chopper's "down time"

--------------------------------------------------
MEC wins at Karkand

this happens all the time but isnt easy to control - you will have more to do with your team's success if u are being an attentive commander (scanning often and spawning spec. or A.T.  to blast the occasional vehicle that tries to steal the gatehouse, and taking their tickets away with arty)

The story at Karkand is simply, MEC wins if the USMC players are all so kill-selfish that they never bother capturing and moving on from the hotel. So winning as MEC requires either a solid team that can hunt down and kill every intruder the commander spots out (provided the commander spots ALL of them), or a lazy USMC team. It helps if the MEC tank keeps a defensive position so it can clear back flags at a moments notice, and never ever gets left sitting out at the base.

I personally find that at a lot of karkand servers there is one team that goes from one side to the other winning with both teams. Maybe its that the people with skill naturally start gravitating towards each other on one team  but this scenario of being on the better team seems to produce MEC wins better than any strategy alone can (that i have discovered).

--------------------------------------------

I play most of my hours at karkand on the usmc side because on this team almost any individual player can win the game for their team just by showing up at unexpected flags (often the market while your team is still camping at the hotel, its a short distance but not as expected as the square) they also are left with no logical conclusion for what u will captrure next because the market is so central.

It is freaking hard to win as MEC if only a small handful of USMC players are always trying to cap flags in random corners of the map.

hope this helps, I can't really comment on zatar or oman. i dont play them enough.

Uh.... no. Mec only has the advantage on 16 player size Karkand. Any bigger and USMC nearly always wins.

You want a one sided Mec map play Sharqi 32 size or bigger. All other maps are subject to change.

Sharqi, I've almost never lost that map as MEC, unless the USMC managed to hold onto their flags long enough for ticket drain to matter.

Mashtuur is a toss-up since it's a double assault, if you have at least one working squad capping flags then you're golden.

Agreed.  I was playing last nite on this map as USMC and our team was excellent.  We won (which was a pleasant surprise) something like 38-0, which for US on Sharqi is an ass-whooping.

Yeah! Sharqi! MEC (if a half decent team), should win, if only just!

EDIT: Actually, I've played a Sharqi where we won by 238 tickets...
I've had Sharqi rounds where MEC won by 280+ tickets. I swear I've never seen a dumber American team. "We've lost every point but city entrance in 2 minutes flat! ATTACK THE ARTY CANNONS EVERYONE!"

But yeah, Sharqi or Oman are both good maps for MEC, provided your team knows what its doing.

Sharqi is the obvious choice as most others have mentioned.  The MEC are generally favored on this map with the uncaps and apc + tank vs. the USMC only getting a tank.

16 player Karkand usually has the MEC winning, at least from what I've seen.  There's just not enough time, generally, for the US to pull much off.  Kark 16 is great if you've got a lot of players.  Quick rounds mean quick victories.

The other map I tend to have luck with as MEC is Zatar Wetlands.

How does MEC have an advantage in Zatar?

I'm still not convinced that MEC actually has an advantage in Oman. I've played both sides pretty often and its always USMC pinning the entire MEC airforce down @ the airfield.

Really don't want to loss all the MEC rounds if I am a commander and I will never be able to graduate from the War College.

Karkand seems always USMC wins. Gulf of Oman seems even on both side.
No idea about the others.
