Do I have Any chance against those Calymores?
If I spot one, can I dotonate it somehow (with out using my body) ???
And how about AT mines?

Martin,
If you're playing engineer you can use your wrench to disable them.
Needless to say, be sure to approach the claymore from behind though...

Yup claymores are some nasty pieces in real life.  Id rather a hand grenade go off on me that a claymore.  Hand Grenade you got a chance to live....caught by a claymore....no way in hell.  Those steel balls can go through 5 human targets before they stop.  So even with a couple buddies in front of you....your still dead.  Not the case with grenades.  Nothing like a giant shotgun with C4 as its charge to kill you.
yep but id rather die quick from a claymore than standing on a presure mine and having my legs blown off or trippin a bouncin betty and gettin blown in half it takes a few mins b4 u die aparently not very nice
You got a point there...I would much rather it take .00001 of a second for me to feel nothing that to have 20 minutes of pain and agony then die.

there's a front and a back to a claymore (in bf2)?  I never noticed.

In real life the mine says "Front Towards Enemy"....   lol
It's because in Vietnam the VC would turn the mines around so that they would shred the guy detonating it. They added the words so that you could tell what way it was facing (shaped charge and all).
I have detonated claymore mines in training and yes, they are devestating. Shredded a whole row of sapplings..

Ah I did not know this.
(But are you sure he was in front of it?)

Either way, I'll try to stick behind it... ;o)

i thought the range of a claymore was hundred meters could be more as ballbearings powered by C4 aint gonna have a stuck range as such but i dunno

In australia I got 2 c a couple with the cadets and it said "do not eat" on it. No joke, i think it might have something 2 do with the BBs and chocking or something. All those poor african kids.
