I actualy used that strategy in a transport chopper! It worked well for flag capping, it cleared the area in no time. We only found out about the bonus points after the round! So was that considered stat padding since it was done with good intentions LOL?

I once got into a boat with these people on accident. Once I realized what they were doing I switched to an alternate acount, rejoined the server, got in thier boat again and teamkilled them all.
The difference between the boat ride and chucking c4/nades from a chopper is that in the boat there are no targets that they're trying to hit. My clan and I have used the tactic mentioned above and we did it on Mashturrd City. Three of us climb into a blackhawk or skycow one spec ops chucking c4, one engineer on guns that would occasionally toss AT mines and repair, and the pilot as support. The pilot always loaded up on team points becasue of any kills we got and all the resuply. But we weren't aimlessly tossing nades and c4, we would fly over enemy flags...cause what's the fun in not trying to kill people. And if you haven't tried it, you should. Takes a bit to get the hang of when to drop the c4, especially on moving targets, but big payoff if you can get it to work. Anyway, we got accused of stat padding cause the pilot would end the round with 70+ team points with no kills.

The same thing must have happend in some french clanserver i was playing. The clan guys on usmc had 90+ teampoints alll together, they where in a boat far behind the essex. Only luck i spotted them, and i was very suprised when i got 8 kills for shoting the boats i assumed was empty! Next i know is that i got kicked for baseraping, cause i shot two boats to peaces with the 23mm two times. I rejoined, prtSc`d the score every one minute, and posted on the Ea ranked server program page.
I only reported them cause they kicked me really

I prefer if people riding in my vehicles shut the hell up so they dont make our position THAT much easier to make. I dont know how many people i have killed via tv missile shots, tanks shots, or other long range weapons because their muzzle flashes gave them away (and vice versa). The manual actually stresses that you get points when somebody in the vehicle heals or resupplies - so it's kind of encouraged to help your friends to get points - i.e. nadespamming.
And as the supply guy you have the perfect excuse,you just wanted to get from point a to b and it's not your fault when the other guys in the chopper/boat/transport nadespam or just fire in the air.
And if you look at the screenshots,these are not people from the same clan,looks like they found each other and decided to pad a little right on the spot.....
But somehow I'm not sure what to think about the whole issue,if you do that while fighting it's not really statspadding to me,this little fishing trip surely is.
Yesterday... Me and my mates saw not an ordinary method of statpadding (or ordinary, lol, idk). One guy was jumping from the roof and suiciding(I think that he had a puppet account) and the other guy was reviving him. We tk'ed them a couple of times; admin was on and they eventually were banned "for suiciding". There is no honor in these "cheap points".

do you know how they stat padded?? they wer going out of the map?
