Well, basically, I'm getting screens like this:

Note: I've resized this pic, but you can still see the obvious problem...

Even though I'm running my settings like... THIS?:

Please help me! If you need any extra info I'm willing to hand it out, so long as you guys might be able to help. I've already posted my dilemna elsewhere but the only fix I've been handed so far is to clean my computer with a hoover, to remove dust, which I did to no avail.

Oh yeah, this is my computer, unchanged except for a belkin wireless card (but that's a different story.... :@ )

i used to get very similar graphics glitches in bf1942 - it was heat related from overclocking my graphics card, so the suggestion to remove dust wasn't too far off the mark. if you're overclocking your video card, now might be the time to stop... maybe look into get some better cooling for the gpu / case?

if that isn't an option, or turns out not to be the cause... maybe try a reinstall of your graphics card drivers, and failling that the game itself. good luck either way

Auch thats got to hert what graphics card you have and how much memory you have ? on your PC

also have a look at this thred

http://forums.bf2s.com/viewtopic.php?id=22556

It might help you it might not

also make sure you dont have any programs runing in BG i.E p2p softwere ( downloading softwere )

but that looks to me more graphics card related

try reinstalling BF2 also see if that helps

and make sure you have your settings on LOW in video settings in BF2

see if that helps let me know Peace Boris

do you have this problem outside of BF2? because i got a new monitor recently and it does something like this in the Windows login screen.  I just turn the monitor off then on again and its fine.

yeh i dnt think it will bne a moniter issue due to the fact that the writing on the screen are still intact, only the actualy playing ground has therefore i thin it will be a graphix card issue (and a big one). i could be wrong how ever, but what GC are you running anyway?

A paint-brush is useful tool to remove dust-clusters from the cooling fins.

Thanks guys I would Karma but I can't for some reason....

I forgot to mention that yes, it is Graphics card related, everywhere I go I'm told it's overheating, but how to stop it etc etc.

@novamute.uk I don't even know what overclocking is :p

@badhq I dunno how to close those programs although they shouldn't be running because I don't have any. But, I think "msmsg.exe" or something like that is running. And yes, everything is set to zero. :p

@haffeysucks Only in other games that rely on my graphics card. Black & White 2 for example.

@savking I think it's a 6200 Turbo Cache or whatever, how do I check lol

Once again guys thanks, and just to spare me a little time, my computers specs are on that link (here it is again: http://www.fujitsu-siemens.co.uk/home/p … leo_p.html )

And one last thing, I'm only fourteen so y'know, upgrading my fan and stuff is a little much if you get me

Thanks!

I just recently had similar problems.  Mine were caused by overheating the video card.  The alarm had been turned off for overheating and I hadn't realized it.  When I activated it, it showed me in the red at 135 degrees.  I took off the cover and put an industrial work fan on a nearby table and aimed the exhaust right at the video card.  Almost immediatly my heat went down and the graphics went back to normal.

Keep it clean and cool in there.

Does the errors occur at once, or after a while? Open your PC, put a ventilator in front of it. If the errors are still there, then it is probably not overheating. What to do against overheating: Leave the PC open, install an additional fan or glue (with a special cooling adhesive) cooling fins on the video ram chips. BTW what a graphics board do you have?

Sorry, I'm English. Do you mean a fan instead of ventilator? By open you mean to take off the shell yeah? And as I said before I'm not in a position to add more fans inside because I have no idea how to. My graphics board is I dunno, if there is a way for me to find out and tell you fire away

Sorry for being a noob, but thanks for trying to help.
