My girlfriend has always been watching over my shoulder since I started playing BF2. She's not new to gaming and always loved playing Day of Defeat & BF1942 with me back in the day and more recently DoD:S. She knew her comp couldnt handle BF2 so never got it.

So one day she asks to play BF2 and I let her play until she thought it was cute to run people over (on our own team) giving me negative stats lol. So I said... no more to that jokingly.

She still wanted to play so I offered to make her a new player account so that she could have her own.

Then I made the grand mistake of showing her BF2S and all the cool badges and ranks......

Now she's over at my apartment constantly, and plays the game while I'm away. She NEVER played Day of Defeat by herself claiming it was unfun and that she sucked. But she loves playing this game.... by herself....

Very odd.

She's only racked up like 160 points in about 5 hours of play, but it's been only a few days. Now she's fighting me for my comp.... and what can I say.... females win when they want to.... they play dirty....

Might be time to build a new computer and just let her have this one so we can both play

(valid excuse for an upgrade.... right )

Anyone else's girlfriend play the game? Sons/Daughters/Other family members? How do you balance the comp with them? To me it's hard watching her play BF2... I get all ancy wanting to play myself. lol (Yes I know I'm an addict)

im 16. my girlfriend came over. i showd her bf2 because she asks y im on it so much..less than a hour a day. she played single player was a sniper...she thought it was fun. but neva played it agan. o well. it would be soo cool to have a girlfriend who plays bf2 online on her pc at home but i dont mind o well. your lucky

in my clan is the wife of one clanmember ... and let me have a look ... she has over 70k points with a spm of nearly 2 ^^ not that bad!

i know some girls playing games, but shooters arent that typical. but i love to have them on the teamspeak, it is always funny rofl ^^

Here's my situation.

Started playing BF2 back in early September last year. At that time, I was livin with my parents cuz I had some financial difficulties and needed the help...I ain't ashamed of that. Anyways, at that time, I would spend time with my girl a few days outta the week, stop by her place, stay the night, that kinda stuff. Then, I started bringing my box over for weekends at her place. She watched me play once, and asked to play. I created her an account, and she was hooked. We only had my box at that time, so before long, she ALWAYS asked if I was bringing my comp out. I know she enjoyed the game, and I like keeping my girl happy. Next thing I know...she's always asking to play...I mean ALWAYS. I lost a lotta time thru that time. Then, I just build her a new comp...not the best, but it runs the game.

Now...we live together, have 2 comps, and play together every night...and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

...oh...and she can cook too.

Upgrade her computer! Me and my husband each have our own, it is sooooo boring to sit and watch.
We play together almost every night
We also have a 3.5 year old and a 6 year old who like the game, we have to play when they are sleeping becasue then there will be fights about who gets to play.

haha... the first time she stole BF2 from me, I was on teamspeak with a friend of mine. My girl would make sound affects with the machine guns firing and scream at people when they wouldn't get out of her way....

my friend is now concerned that I'm dating a nutcase.. lol...

I am glad I work 3rd shift, when I am playing BF2, the wife has been asleep for a while. When I play and she is awake, she does not even bother me. So only likes 8-Bit Nintendo games.

I have a similar story. I bought my missus The Sims, thinking "ahh shes not interested in computer games" is she hell, I had to fight to get her off it to get a game of battlefield.
