I totally, without a dought agree with you on that statment. My main map is Karkand and yes I am a very good TANK WHORE, but IMO the best place for your tank is in support of your team like a tank is ment to be. The ground guys do the leg work you just support and make sure they get the job done.

The best rounds that I have had the most fun with is when a team is really singing and I'm in support with my M1A1 or T-90. I have pulled many rounds out of the fire doing exactly that just supporting what the ground guys think is the best move at the time.

I ALWAYS try and engage a tank when I see it, I may back off a bit to sneek around it and attack from behind but I will for sure fight it.
I really like stalking tanks in APCs tho heh.. now THAT is fun.

I don't spawncamp so my ratio isn't all that great compared to some others.

But I do make a conscious effort to jump in a tank when available. I love the tank. Yes. (EDIT: Without it I don't think BF2 would be worth playing)

Spawn raping on karkand helps you team a huge amount. I have raped the other team to the point where they just don't spawn at hotel anymore. On the UAV there will be 2 dots yet my team will still not cap the flag. WTF?

I don't know who -1 me and said I am a spawn camping POS but I think it's kind of childish! I was just stating my opinion about my fighting style with the tank. I am a team player and wish more poeple played that way. I am a TANK WHORE like I stated above and love supporting the ground pounders and helping them get the job done!

I play in a variaty of maps with tanks including Karkand, and I love chasing down tanks. They are a free +4 points, because in the server I play in, most tanks have gunners too.
