ok, so i know many of you are hyped up about the A-10 and the Little Bird in the upcoming Armoured Fury booster pack. i myself am looking forward to flying them. I just downloaded a mini mod called Project Reality Mini Mod just to check out their version of the Little Bird. damn that thing is so small and so much fun to fly! i hope that EA make their bird as responsive and agile as this one was. The bird in PRMM isnt armed, but can carry a total of 6 people, which makes it a vital flag-capping asset. anyways, here are some pics so you guys know what to expect when armoured fury comes out. if you wanna get the mod urself, here a linky:

the 1 in project reality sucks(might of changed because i havent played the recent release)
but it flys like the Mi17 Hip that is smaller,with less armor, and no .50cals on the sides
pretty much i dont like it
but it works very good for spec ops attacking the enemy main because of its small size
can carry up to 6 people
2 spec ops in the doors+1 engi+1 medic+ 1 support+ 1 anti tank in the other door
(there are 4 door spaces)

little birds in real life own, they carry rocket pods and miniguns, but of course bf2 doesnt make anything realistic because it would own too much

exaclty, reality would suck for bf2, O SHIT. arty got me... looks like il have to wait for the next round.... SHOOT my weapon jammed. o NO!, i fell from 10 ft and survived WTF!?!? man, that car that bumped my broke my legs, time to hobble around. Looks like that sniper hit me in the chest with a .50 cal, and LOOK ITS A HUGE HOLE! o well, i guess il have to wait till next round.

I was looking at the Eurocopter on TBF and I saw it had sort of camera like things. Will this mean this is how we spy on the enemy?? That would be so cool, a recon chopper instead of UAV. Just don't let the n00bs pilot it or your fucked

remember the little bird from desert combat days? You could get eye-level with guys before killing them with the minigun. On a related note, I can't see the choppers not having at least a minigun.

If bf2 were realistic, this is what would happen with the US maps.

Carrier maps<- the U.S. would blow the shit outta the enemy with cruise missiles, battleship and other ship cannons, high altitude bombing. Then the U.S. would enter the land and would easily win.

Non carrier maps<- U.S. would bring tons of arty, MLRS's (would love to see these in vanilla bf2), much more selfpropelled arty and percision bombers. Then they enter and easily win.

If bf2 were realistic the americans would win every battle.

they must have made some serious changes because the little bird is the most fun-to-use vehicle i have ever come across in any FPS..my vid is uploading right now, check it out when its done and u'll see. it can turn like crazy!

I'm interested in what EA/Dice do with this little bird heli. It looks like it should be a dream to fly......but I won't hold my breath, as they have a chance to let me down when I do. Just look at the Typhoon. I was expecting something J10-ish.
