I am about 7000 points from my next rank Sgt. Major. And I hate the fact that it takes so long to get points...fuck. I get maybe 1000- 1500 a week because I really only play on the weekends. Who else is pissed that they are so close to their new rank, yet so far. Let us go whine in the corner for like 7 weeks.

This is slighlty sarcastic, so yeah.

Try SF,I got my Sgt.Major yesterday and kept playing SF as sniper with the SVD,got over 1000 points that night.
And my SPM is even worse than yours,but it got bigger yesterday.

Well, some people are lucky enough to get 1500 a month. In my mind, high rank usually equates lonely, misadjusted people who thrive on the computers companionship. What kind of life do you have when you spend 6-8 hours a day on a video game?

Its true the tops ranks are all but pipe dreams to those unable to put in stupid amounts of time but fuck it, there are other more telling stats to judge a player on. Anyway, considering the hours per day these people put in they must be fucked up loners so don't aspire to them too much

I'm like 980 points or something away from Sergeant Major........and I could probably get there in one good day.........but I've got so much studying to do its pissing me off. Plus.......my SPM sucks, so to get that many points in a day I've gotta play quite a bit. I'm probably the only person in the world that has gotten the Combat Infantry Medal before reaching Sergeant Major. Of course.......I REALLY sucked when I first started playing......so I spent a lot of hours getting my ass kicked. Now I'm at 500 hrs.....and still not Sergeant Major. Hell......I might even get the Marksman Infantry Medal before I rank up, because all I still need for that is my veteran knife badge.

Nope,me too.

I got Marksman Infantry Medal before Sgt.Major.

And I got Sgt.Major yesterday with 629 hours of play.
Ok,90 hours of it are command and I'm a lazy sniper most of the time.And I don't have that "big of an ego" to get 2000 points a day(or even play every day) just to feel superior over some 12 year old kids.

A lot of "skill" comes from your system,whether some people don't like to hear this or not,it's true.
I got my ass kicked so badly the first week of play when I only had 512 MB RAM that it took a long time to get a positive k/d-ratio.
Then with 1 gig of RAM it got better but frequent jerkyness f*cked up my gameplay a lot of times,now I have 2 gigs of RAM and my gameplay got way better.
