ok i have bf2 and bf2sf but when i join  a sf server i load and just as you get the join game option i get sent back to the chose server screen and it says this server only alowys players with unmodified content to join revert your version of bf2 to the current official version to join
what does this mean can i fix it

I had a similar problem a few months ago.
It could be because your punk buster version is not correct.
Punk buster should automatically update itself but it's only 99.99% reliable.
Try going to the following page:

If this does not help you could try a reinstall of BF2 and SF [remember to patch after both are installed].

i reinstaled the patch and it didnt fix any thing

Did you do the whole patch or just the incremental.. I had the same thing too, you need the full 1.22 for it to work.

ok well i just uninstalled both my games reinstaled them and then patched with the full 1.22 patch and i still get the same thing what is goin on here

Can a mod make a Sticky of this or a general support Sticky for this issue?  This is one of many post that ask the same question.

I first tried the 1.22 incremental (but this failed) ... I had to download and install the full 1.22 patch to get it to work.
