AA usage

I must be completely dumb, but I don't know how to use the stinger. Ppl are complaining and bitching about how it's overpowered now. I don't think I've manage to kill anyone with the stinger after the patch, one missile always miss and the other one might hit.

Now, what am I missing here? I won't even discuss airplanes because they have bombed me way before I've figured out where they even come from. But a stupid thing as a black hawk. I tested the other day, thought to myself "man what an easy kill". I jumped into the stinger, aimed a little bit before the BH and bam-bam. The BH dropped his flares and turned right, and the first missile hit but the second missed by a longshot. The BH is slow and gay, how the hell did he even managed to turns away.

How are you supposed to use the stinger, aiming straight at the target or a little ahead sure isn't the way

try few things see what works best for you,

Like when u get lock on Dont fire str8 away Hold up till Jet Drops his Flears Then Fire when u have a clean lock on I belive last patch has fixed Issue with SAM they not as powerfull they were in other patch Peace Boris

Yeah what Boris said ^ Just be patient and wait till they drop flares and that gay BH is pretty much toast.

Recently I've only killed airplanes with the carriers AA. When I get a lock wait for the flares and just let all the rockets go. As the for the other AA, I just use against attack choppers. Against jets nah, they're just too fast. By the time you get a lock they will be long gone from view and probably bust a U to come back and bomb you.

I have shot jets down with the stinger before. Usually they are gone too fast unless u know which direction they are flying towards you from. It can be done...just is difficult...good luck
