Anyone out there tired of having a decent hiding spot were in normal warfare nobody would see you, lets just use a plant/shadows for instance you hiding there snipin what have you and someone runs along in a tank/apc, or some foot soldier and spots you because you show up red on there screen. After many hours of playing different styles i have been working my sniper alot more lately...and there isnt a damn place i can hide. yeah all you 1337 snipers out there can suck an ass if you say your just not hiding right, and blah blah blah. doesnt matter if i'm on a roof top just sitting not firing a shot, in a bush across the road, name it i've been there, and all it takes is one glance off in the distance they spot you grenade, boom, dead!

Another thing i'm tired of is Too many tanks/apc's for urban combat maps, why cant we have a map for infantry only and a map for tankwhores? i LOVE ground pounding alot and most the servers i find with low ping are 64player maps with 20+ people in them and all 6 of the tanks/apc's are taken and you cant win for shit against them yeah, c4 SUCKS since the nerf, mine's have always sucked work when they want to, and anit tank missiles, takes 3 of them bastards and if your lucky to get 2 shots your never gonna get that 3rd shot off, well maby if in the right position, but lets be honest kids, THATS NOT GONNA HAPPEN.

Finally, we have WAKE, 4 JETS, and 2 tanks,,,dont mind the tanks, dont mind the jets, but who is gonna win? i say 2 a piece! Helo's dont bother me anymore, they NERF'd the shit out of them to where any damn NOOBIE can fly them and any shithead throwing a wild grenade in the direction will take the thing down. I'm about to boycot my fav game for the last 4 years. BF has always been the best i have ever played and nothing will touch it, but too much nerfing, heavy machine guns that can snipe better than the sniper class, yeah, so they fixed the bunny hopping and dolfin diving, I seemed to gun them bastards down, but i get the point in fixing that.

over all: I LOVE BF FOR REASONS SUCH AS "LIFE LIKE" AND ITS JUST NOT ANYMORE. Who wants my copy i payed all this damn money for and didnt get the original game i purchased???????

Yeah, it's dumb when you can't really see somebody but you can see their name tag. I get a few kills that way.
I hate what they did to the chppers too, they're still good if you have a lucky time, but I hate the instadeath trees. I mean wtf? Yeah, if you crash head-first into trees a heli will blow up, but you brush the top, clip a branch, BOOM. It sucks, cos there is no periperhal view in choppers... I hate it.

They actually have to spot directly at you for the red nametag to apear, and with the uav deployed they know what general direction to look.

And do you really think that the PKM is such an unaccurate gun IRL, cause its not. Singleshot with PKM is deadly accurate at medium range and closer.

The big difference between the sniper and the pkm is the distance and the scope.

Okay i agree with the fact that the game is not lifelike but i shouldn`t be either, would have become way to boring if it was.

Yeah, i heard you the first time !

But you asked if anyone agrees with you and i stated that i agree to an extent but my opinion is that the game if balanced good the way it is now and you must stand comments like that when you make a thread like this.

Concider that this game is meant to be playable for both newbs and hardcore gamers and with such a wide targetgroup its impossible to please 100% of the players. All that have some experience with marketing knows this, the line between sucsess and failure is very thin and i think EA/Dice has made a remarkable job coming very close to the perfect Fps-game.

I agree with you on some of your points, but everyone bought the exact same game....everyone started with the same things/tallent. Then they nerfed everything and made it a shit game.. everyone starts off a newb and with time gets up to hardcore gamer, I did my time why cant they? But lets not get heated over this, I got tired of everything over a month or two ago and quit playing let my nervs simmer down, i come back here of lately and this game is nothing what i payed for and is in my oppinion worse than BFV, i would be playing those games if there were people still playing them as much as others play this. I dont understand Bf1942 was NEVER EVER like this, bfv just sucked but is better than bf2 as more patches come out and nerf more things...

I agree with one thing FULLY a map for foot soldiers only... If ever that map would be I think I would play it 24/7.
Yes I to love to play armour, but you can do that on any map..
a good all infantry map would be the GREAT WALL from euroforce.

i didnt buy euro force, i think it should be free, along with the INFANTRY only map lets start a petition!

If you think about it, taking out the color (red, blue) from your tag would finally FIX the red blue bug. Although the TK's might be to an extreme, just pissing off other people. If it was a server option atleast that would give you a choice.

Have you ever heard of a UAV? Whenever I see a lone dot sitting somewhere obscure for more thanm a minute I flank it and knife it. Enemies CAN see you on the UAV.

Generally, snipers are of no value to a team, expecially when they are sitting up in a bush taking potshots at infantry. They don't usually kill enough people to damage the enemy's tickets, and they are of little teamwork value. The only sniper I've ever seen worth something is called a "sniper from hell." The claymore friendly flags, oftentime saving it. The are excellent pistol shots, taking down a guy with an assault rifle in 1 vs 1. They use sprint to thier advantage, constantly moving, and help thier team hold flags and reduce enemy tickets. They don't call for supply drops, opting to survive on what they have. These snipers can influence the outcome of a game.

BF2 is a modern combat game. Vehicles are there to be used. Tanks, choppers, and jets are very effective at reducing enemy tickets. A whole team of all infantry will rarely win the battle.

The one at airfield can often be found abandoned next to the J-10 spawn point, so that doesn't really count.
