And do you really think that the PKM is such an unaccurate gun IRL, cause its not. Singleshot with PKM is deadly accurate at medium range and closer.
The big difference between the sniper and the pkm is the distance and the scope.
Okay i agree with the fact that the game is not lifelike but i shouldn`t be either, would have become way to boring if it was.
In real life both the Dragunov and the PKM share the 7.62x54R cartridge so distance is of bullet travle is pretty much the same and scopes can be the same as well . I believe you can put a 3x9 scope on a PKM I forgot . The only difference between the barrels is length . I believe they share the same flash hiders . The main difference of these two weapons is that they are for different puposes .The Dragunov is a close support sniper rifle . The PKM is a heavy machine gun also for support . It's the Russian M-60 . It is very accurate and of course plenty of punch .
Now as for the way the PKM is shooting in the game now I think it's too strong . And that's what I hate most about this latest patch . They don't seem to tweak anything over there at DICE studios . They only seem to go the fullest extent adding or decreasing 90% power/hit points of what ever it is that they see fit to " fix " . When to go to extremes like this your not fixing bugs and tweaking performance . Your changing the dynamic of the entire game . And that is too bad because I fell in love with the first rendition - and now it's far from it so I'm done with playing it and done with DICE altogether . Never again .
