Now engineers they really don't get too many team points unless they stick together with another armour that is a engineer and repair each other my idea or well a combo of everyone is let the engineers have repair points and engineer points like medics have heal and revive points. The engineer could get 1 point per removal of a mine or claymore and get a engineer point. Not much of a great breakthrough....

- I have heard alot on this but i think ea could really do this..
I like the idea +1 for you
mmm that sounds solid.
wouldnt get exploited at all.

makes sense to get a point for removing a mine/claymore
I agree that repair points are the most difficult to get. And removing enemy mines is a very worthwhile task that is not done enough. I like the idea. +1 to you.
[Edit: no points should be awarded for removing friendly mines/claymores as it would lead to point farming]

That is a great idea and would be really sweet if patched in. Getting very few points per round as engineer is not fun especially when your busting your ass trying to keep the commander and all your tanks up.
Not a bad idea.
To further refine it, limiting to only being able to pick up however many you would normally carry.
So if you haven't thrown any, you can't take any up.
If you've thrown 2. You can pick up 2.
It would be a nice way to re-arm yourself with mines too.
Now, here's the question, if you throw all your mines, hit the resupply crate, and throw all of those, do the first batch go inactive? (As the game is now?)
Cause if you ended up trying to throw out a whole ton of mines, successive batches would "inactivate" the first batch, keeping you from making a Pumpkin Patch of sorts for engineers. So dead mines mean, no points for the guys's buddy who's trying to whore points by picking up 60+ mines.

To be honest i think you would find that more engineers would be taking the time to remove them, as most dont... so this would be a good improvment in my opinionliquidat0r wrote:
