hey guys im just wondering if the mec are actully speaking a real langauge and if anyone on these forums knows and understands it ?
It sounds like some form of Russian. I don't speak either of them though so I can't say for sure.

I'm dutch and sometimes when i push Page Up as MEC they say something like: 'Lekker werke'
Which in dutch means something like: 'nice workin'
But I've heard DICE let real Arabian people do the voices for MEC.

Its definately Arabic. I enjoy listening to both the Mandarin and Arabic on both sides and learn what I can. I'm glad these were done properly.

yeah it is its arabic! i went to egypt and thats what they spoke, pretty cool to understand what they were saying to an extent.

The languages spoken in the game all are accurate and appropriate to their own armies, I speak both Arabic and Russian and i'll have to say they did a good job, some of the Arabic translations are more of a word-for-word effort but they get the point accross, i'll have to ask 1 of my Chinese speaking friends about the accuracy of Chinese in the game tho.

If they increased the number of voice commands I might actually end up learning two new foriegn languages thanks to Battlefield 2. However my vocabulary would be severely limited and I might try to explain everything in terms of an enemy boat being spotted.

arabic is not easy at all.
The russian is mostly correct aswell (Russian girl in my class who could translate it )
One thing I can say is that MEC says "Boombla" when throwing grenades. Socom 3 uses that same word so I'm guessing thats accurate. As far as the rest, it sounds close enough for me, so I could care less if they are saying "dirka dirka"
