I stick C4 On my tank, only if I feel like engaging enemy armor, Normaly I suck in tank battles, and if im going to be taken down, Ill jihad, otherwise, its a good security system

Ill always go AT while in armor, because when the enemy takes me down, Ill hop out and finish em off, they never see it coming!

Going engineer in armor is unfair to my team, because I suck as armor, hence my crappy armor K/D

Oh and nyte, seeing as you are training to become the jack-of-all-trades, heres 5 bucks, goto K-Mart and buy yourself some skill

if your wanting to take out a tank, with out getting close, get a mate to be AT, sneak (as specops) behind the tank about 10m back, lay c4 on the road. From my experiance 99% of tankers will always back up first sound of a lock, thats when you get the c4 kill.
Its work for me a few times, im not sure if it will work for others.

Best to be at tank is engineer, so you can fix other vehicles while sitting inside your tank, well, if your teammates are engineers too that would be good, if not, heres another armor-c4 tactic:

- Spawn as SF.
- Grab armor (tk any noob that wants to steal it, its yours !!)
- set 2 or 3 C4 charges behind the turret, NOT behind, front or beside armor, nobody shots you behind the turret, is always at tracks, front or back of armor.
- transform into an armor whore.
- three fight scenaries:
--> you are fighting against other armor, you win, then ask for supplies or for an engineer.
-->you are fighting against other armor, you are going to lose, crash your armor to the enemy armor, yeah, you will blow, but your explosion will take him TOO. You can spawn back and take YOUR tank again.
--> A SF soldier just set c4 on you, stay near him, he will suicide, everybody does it, but instead of him getting a suicide, he will get killed by the explosion of your c4. You can spawn back and take YOUR tank again.

I have done this against jihad c4 whores and it works.

If you can have a armor convoy yeah engineer is great, but how often are you pubing with folks who use armor Convoys and aren't clanmates?  Plus, if you are in an APC/TANK against an armored convoy being an enginneer doesn't mean squat.  I'd rather take one down with the C4 and let the ATs reem the defeated convoy.

how about using the C4 packs to cover the sights on the tanks, you can cover where the driver looks out with C4 and they won't be able to see.... try that out.

yea never get out of the tank unless your repairing in a safe spot.. Die with it you dont want certin people getting your teams tank and keeping it the entire round if something does not go as planned.

I don't play other games.
There are days where I don't play at all. Just days where I play a lot more than 2.6 hours a day.
I have fun while playing.
