Have a look at this screenshot.....and look at the bullet size, the bigger one is the M95 and the smaller one is the L96A1.

Ouch, never had the chance to notice that. That's the difference between the .50 cal and the 7.62mm.

Cool that someone thought to make a difference. It fits tho, for the M95 Barret fires .50 cal. ammo and the L96 is firing something along the lines of .300 magnum. When thinking of the ammo for a Barret think ammo for the guns of a WWII fighter. Amazing that someone can be shot with one and live hehe.
I think your sig is over the maximum allowed size.

wat map is that, is it from a mod, cuz the minimap doesnt look like karkand or warlord.

That was the Nations at War mod that he was playing. And the map is Strike at Karkand 2(all of there maps are US vs PLA+MEC.

I saw a example of what the .50cal can do on the in real life. My freinds uncle is part of the NY Reserves and he fired a M82A1(same as M95 except the gun is alittle bigger because the mag is infront of the trigger instead of inback) and he fired it through 1 1/2 inches of steel and as a second test he fired it through 2ft of solid cinder blocks(rember that if he was using a armor peircing incindery round he could of went through much more(up to 4inches).
There is also another gun that fires 25mm rounds called the XM109 and 25mm is about 1 in. Can you think of the damage done by that?

its the same for the mod and Vanilla. i just happened to be on that when i did it...and sure, il do one for every gun class.....if Chuy wants the pics for WIKI id be happy to contribute.
Yes its the NAW mod....but they only changed damage+kits+vehicles, not bullet sizes or anything like that.
You guys do know that in real life, the M95 would rip a big hole in you(and probably kill you) if the bullet came even relatively close to you.
I don't know why EA/DICE is making some things realistic and some things so childish. M95 one shot kill, I say.

M95 one shot kill = Only snipers. Can you imagine what would happen if the M95 was made one shot kill? can you imagine the flood of snipers storming into the game? It would ruin the game for everyone else. And the M95 does exactly the same damage, only damage diff is the M95 can shoot through glass.
it doesnt do anymore damage in this game. All sniper rifles take 2 hits unless its a headshot. Otherwise, the 95, or the 96a1 will take you down to 2 bars of life. The 95 can just damage vehicles and shoot thru the glass.pure_beef_69 wrote:

actually the M24 and L96A1 do less damage then the M95.
Case in point: M95 does 190 damage to any non-human thingy. Otherwise it does a strict 95 damage armored or not.
Other point: L96A1 and M24 don't do 95 damage to armored targets, only unarmored.
