Is anyone else not getting assist points as easily?

I play medic quite a bit, and (not bragging) i've got a pretty good aim with the L85A1.... I started noticing this with the last patch, where I would hit someone 4 or 5 times and not get a kill damage assist point.

Then I started noticing that when I threw healthpacks to my squad members (or anyone really) i'd only get heal points 1/2 the time... And i'm talking about their bar being at 1 becuase they just got sniped... I see the medpack go to them, their health back to normal, no point.

So is there something special that constitutes a damage assist or a heal?

damage assist is when you do enough damage to bring something/ someone down to less than 1/2 health.

heal is when you heal 100% of health so an almost dead soldier and a slightly wounded soldier = 1 heal point.

The scoring system for healing is in the Wiki ... nothing has changed in my experience. I dunno, perhaps you are misinterpreting the situations.

i always seem to get kill assists all the time, and it gets bloody annoying. i will be just about to kill an enemy troop when one of my squad members gets the final shot.

Its prob cos the person you shot at picked up health before they died...

I find L85A1 quite an inaccurate gun with the iron bars.

No difference for kill assists with me that I've noticed. Not closing the deal is sort of a speciality when I'm sniping!

if you want kill assist points, go sniper, shoot one guy then go sumwer else, hel die eventually and ul get an assist point. simple
