i recently bought an amd x2 4800+ and cannot run battlefield 2. are they ever going to come out with dual core support?
Um, are you kidding? BF2 supports AMD64 Athlon X2s. What video card/ram/HDDs are you using? Do you have updated drivers?

bf2s-etcetera is not the place to ask for technical support.
Yes. BF2 doesn't use both cores, but it uses the second and leaves much of whats left to the first.devilhammer wrote:

There's a big article in this months issue of the "MaximumPC Magazine" that would probobly help you.
