and i honestly dont think anyone will play it just like euro. i can count on one hand the amount of euro server's with people

a question: here in europe, one can buy euro force as well as AF in ashop. its like a case just like BF2? however, the case only contains a code which can be used to download the game. how is it in the states? u guys are only able to download without getting a case?

no its download only, SF was the only expansion that they sold on CD. So in answer to your question you have either got to pay via your credit/debit card or phonebill or other stuff they let you do. Shame they dont take paypal though

slightly offtopic: How does that phonebill thing work, do they attach bill (ie af ~10€) to my phonebill and i pay to my telephone operator as usual? I dont have credit card. /offtopic

edit: ontopic: i would propably buy ef and af if i just had some other way than paying with credit card.

You can go to the mall and get a gift card type thing, it's like a credit card kind of. You just give the store like 20 bucks and they give you a card worth 20 bucks, which you can use for EF and AF.

no through EA's rubbish downloader. that needs like 3 seperate accounts to even work GAMESPY ID woe's

hopefully i still have the account info written down, i deleted the downloader..lol month ago

im waitin it out. if a decent amount of servers pop up. i will shell out 10 bucks on my Amercian Express...

now only if we could get the A-10 in Vanihilla

If it was going to be released on CD I would buy it without a doubt, but the EA downloader thing is bullshit. If they're going to make us pay constantly to be able to play the game to it's fullest potential, slap a couple of elves and orcs in there and call it World of Warcraft - and WoW sucks!

If/when I get a good computer I probably would buy it though.

Well I definately will download it. Hopefully they won't remove stuff again like they will in 1.3 !!! Me personally I am mad as hell @ EA, cause when we, the ones whop bought it right away started playing, we focused on specific requierements, died so many times to archieve this requirement and what happened now ??? They lower all the requierements so people are getting "happier" much faster over awards and such, so EA can convince the community to buy BF2142 !! I am not sure if I would buy it since it's the same engine.

I find EF great too, unfortunately there are no servers to find... and I mean really non... which is quite sad... EA or Dice should do something about that, so there is at least ine server up all the time...

I will if they fix the EA downloader which is a worthless piece of shit for what it does. Or if they release CDs for it like they're SUPPOSED to. It's so stupid how they're forcing you to download it online, some of us don't have credit cards or don't like downloading games online from EA downloader. It's too stupid and risky because it won't let you reinstall it if the installation failed probably, you have to do all this shit just to get it online when it should be on CDs. Then you have to assign to specific accounts and stuff and it's probably more work for EA to do than simply using CDs. I just cannot understand why they don't put it on CDs.
