Every time I try to log in to the account server it crashes to desktop. I disabled my firewall, uninstalled and reinstalled twice and get the same result. I even tried at 6:00 am EST to see is the account sever was just overworked before, but no change. I doesn't even think about connecting, it just crashes every time. I am suffering from battlecrack withdrwal. If any one can help me I would appreciate it. i know that there are other similar threads but I didn't see the exact same problem in them, or at least not stated this way.

I talked to EA tech support and they said that i need to install in this order BF2 -patch to 1.3 -SF - patch to 1.3 - EF - then patch to 1.3. that didn't work for me eith. I had a problem removing all server logos from the logo cache. Couldn't get that resoleved so i the wiped my machine and started from windows again and installed in the order of BF2-SF-EF-1.3 and it works fine now. Thanks boris for being willing to give me some help. One thing good i can say is that i did not have to wait on hold for EA Tech support at all, even though their advice didn't help and their order of installation was wack.
