this has happend 2 times to me and some of my frinds have tried the same, the medal shows up in Bf2 when i play, the pic in the corner and stand "you have been awarded a medal" but when i close it down (after the round ends) it dosent show up in bf2 or bfhq... its not a time problem since its been months and i have gotten other medals afterwards...

there is proberly another post about this but i cant find it...

as said this is more then a month later! and it was silver pistol and enginer medals...
