Hi guys,

I had a question running through my mind, while I was reading through another thread around here :
So, if you lower your ingame display "hz" to like 60 hz, does that push up your frame rate ?
I know what hertz do and I know what frames are, but is there technical matter that relates them both ingame ?

I´m running a pretty crappy graph card, so an answer to this question would be very valuable for me.

Thanks.

Nope, it doesn't, the refresh rate is monitor based, how often each dot on the monitor updates, doesn't affect framerate.

If you play with 60 hz on a CRT monitor, you're eyes will start bleeding after less than an hour.

ugh. CRT monitors. I can't go back to them. NO MORE! It's all about the LCDs. You don't have to worry about Hz and all that crap. Just buy an LCD and you'll be fine. Think of your eyes. Do you want to want to be able to watch pr0n at 60?
