Hi,

Ive been playing alot of sharqi lately and noticed that is extremly dark in some parts in the map, not parts like in alleyways where the shadows would normally make it dark...but out in the open like grass, and I have to rely on the enemys gunshot light to see where he is. Is it just the map that is naturally dark in alot of spots? Or is it my video settings?
Ive played arouind with my settings a bit, first with all low then all high...and I couldn't find much difference.
What settings do you recommend to get the most amount of light possible?

turn down dynamic shadows. i actually have mine set on none...or low...or minimum...or 0. whatever the lowest setting is. youll actually find its a lot less strain on your video card AND youll be able to see people a lot more easily.

theres a thread on here somewhere that shows the same screenshot with dynamic shadows on high and with them turned off. its a huge difference.

really? weird.

um...what kind of video card do you have? it might not be settings. it might be that your vid card is struggling or overheating.

Ah I fixed it. My dynamic light was set to high, I turned it off and its still dark now, but its naturally dark.
Ive got a 9600 256mb.
