I am a dieheart medic and i used to always use the G36E. I was on Sharqi and i accidently pulled the L85A1 out. That weapon is possibly the best weapon in the game!!!!! Its so fukin strong and so accurate. Thats the only weapon i use now. just makes me love this game even more.....

I used the L85A1 for awhile before I got the G36E. It always just seemed too damned weak for me. I would shoot a guy 3, 4, 5 times, and he's still not dead. It's also inacurrate as hell in automatic.
The ak101 is far better, but the L85A1 can equal it as long as you use short or double tap bursts when engaing at medium targets and single shots for long, it does have a big advantage over the 101 and 36, and thats the scope as a trained users can watch the splash of his last round and adjust the rise and fall, thats what i tend to do.
I also agree with MurPHY as if you go auto "Good Luck" unless the target is right infront

I love the L85A1, however if you fire in bursts of more than 2 rounds you have no hope.
At distance it rocks, like all the weapons if you learn to use its strong points you'll come to love it like every other weapon on the game.

None of the assault rifles have scopes. Go check out world.guns.ru for info. Its either iron sights (like the 101), or an aimpoint.

AKs: Either low rank or people who favour quite a big punch. They get into fights too often, so they've got a lack of teamplay.
L85A1: People who have played medic for some time and mastered they aiming behaviour of the L85A1, best teamplay of all these groups. The scope encourages its users to take some distance to opponent so the medic isn't always the first to die.
G36E: Oh dear, this weapon has managed to get the most morons playing medic. It's easily mastered, has a high rate of fire and is quite accurate and that's its problem. It's always nice to see a horde of crazy G36E-wielding berserks charging but is it really that difficult to use first aid or shock paddles?

A diehard medic who uses unlocks? Obviously you haven't spent more than 5 hours with any of the standard guns then. They take practice and that practice pays off.
L85a1 sucks in full auto, and since medics ususally need to clean up enemies FAST to revive people, L85 sucks major donkey balls

@Sarge: Well, prefer having the same weapons on each side, I rarely use standard weapons anymore(it's only SVD i use regurarly.)
