For me i would choose the RPK-74. It has a much faster rate of fire and more accurate IMHO then PKM. Share your views here.
I alternate between all of the support guns. I like the RoF on the rpk, but there is definitely something to be said for the power of the pkm.
My favorite support weapon changes with every new patch... Right now RPK and MG36 are by the far the best overall LMGs in my opinion. You can hit targets farther away much faster than with PKM because of fast firing rate, and that makes up for close range encounters.
RPK for close combat maps like Karkand becasue it has a higher firing-rate AND okay accuracy,
PKM for maps like Mashtuur were the chance of distant firefights is given, becasue the PKM is good for mid-range sniping there

The Saw? I honestly never learned how to use it. I ALWAYS miss with that thing, even at close.

RPK-74, because of it's firerate, it's my favourite support gun, perfect balance between ROF and firepower.
