Crash to desktop problems fix (kinda)

When i press join it crashes, so i press esc that works for about 4 -5 games, then when i press esc to join it crashes, so when i reboot i click join game and it lets me join, does the excat same as esc after a couple rounds, i just alternate,just when it crashes with esc press join, and vice versa.

Hope i helped, it works for me anyways

I got the "clicking join crash" after patching. I went and updated my soundcard and videocard drivers and it now works fine. Seems like a much better workaround than alternating esc and clicking...

I updated pb still got the crash, i updated everything, still got the crash, this is the fix that works for me, so i thought i would share.

I solved my CTD problem by updating punkbuster as described here: http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php After launching update tool it said that my pb version is out of date and downloaded new version. Played maybe 5 or 6 hours during several days after that and only got 1 CTD. Before it was every 2nd time when loading map.

I don't know if that helps only when experiencing CTD when login in or to join game crashes too

If you have installed incremental, jst install full over it. If you have installed full, install the incremental and then full again. I have had the ctd problem everytime I've patched the game, then I do this and it works.

I've never had the CTD problem before this patch and everthing is updated..Getting to be a pain in the ass
but hopefully they'll fix it in the next patch...lol
