BF2S Forums Yet agin u can get into walls

Think there was a post up about this ... someone had some excellent pictures of these two guys abusing this glitch ... I'll try and find the link

omg i cant even stand bf2 anymore i seriously am moving onto COD2

Well it would be nice if I could play online. But no EA fucked it up.

Surely you're kidding. Of course they test their patches, it is just impossible to ever catch every little glitch in an incredibly complex open-ended game such as this. Why else do you think the patch was delayed so much?

Yes I was joking ... a friend of mine has been testing both AF and 1.3 ... they can't find all the bugs I suppose

I am a game tester, it's what I do for a living. Believe me when I say that you can never test a game enough.

but jeeze dont u even notice if they server crashes after som1 gets banned, or the random DC's or the missing server Info.... I mean there is so much work to be done in this patch. :S [its allways happening to my clans server]

I used to test console games for midway (a buddy of mine still works there) and it is ridiculous the kind of stuff you have to do for a video game.  I never got into the writing of it, but the things they would make us do was incredible.  Basically they try to get you to reverse engineer the game.

Having experienced this personally I know that this indeed happens. Just because a tester finds a bug does not instantly mean that it will be addressed and fixed. Deadlines need to be met, fixing one bug will cause three more, it might be out of budget to hire extra coders to help fix something. There are a whole host of reasons that some bugs might not be fixed.

As you said, of course testers will see these issues, but that does not automatically mean that they are going to be fixed.
