how good do you think you are at commanding?

I personally consider myself a 7. im not a great commander, but i dont get mutiny votes against me and i generally win or lose by a very small margin.

dont rate yourself on how good youd be if your team followed your orders. rate yourself on your ability to trick them into doing what you want.

Persoanlly im not commander much but 7/10 cause i spot the enemies as best i can and put the UAV in the best places but i do sometimes send an order to go somewhere but accidently use arty or something stupid like that cause my mouse is fucked at the mo.

I send out orders whenever possible, inform my squad leaders of bases being lost via VOIP, spot out the enemy, always save supplies and vehicle drop and inform if they are available so they can request them, would rather arty a flag being taken than a flag surrounded by 15 enemy players--just to save that flag from falling into enemy hands if my men our busy, and so on.

I'm no selfish when I command, I give to the team. I gave myself a 9/10.

Commanding is the only reason I still play BF2, I would rate myself a 8/10.

I'd give myself a 9, taking 1 off because i don't communicate much.

i give them orders. if they dont listen i spam "YOU HAVE YOUR ORDERS SOLDIER" until all hell breaks loose in their eardrums and they finally agree. after that they are so scared that they become robots to me. just give them ordres, spam for a couple mins, and then theyre robots.

But i acutally am a pretty good commander. on smaller games i love going into battle and capping flags that my lazy ass team doesnt want to.

Command? Communicate? All in the same area right? Nah, it's all about getting the most pwnage with artillery and cartillery and placing a UAV and forgetting about it.

I would say 9.I use VOIP whenever possible as well as anticipate squads needs even if they don't ask for anything.I also know when to sit back and command and when I need to jump in and fight.

Slim to bupkis. I'm a crappy commander. I hate commanding it gets too boring. I do dedicate myself to it though rather than running around, so I gave myself 3/10.
With the added bonus of Cartillery though, I may start having more fun and thus improoving my comandeering but I doubt it.

Fairly good, I think, mainly in areas of smart spotting, UAV, artillery, supply crate kills, and singlehanded base defense. I did write that guide thing, too.

I say 8. I am very active when I command. Not running around trying to get kills but staying in commander screen and spotting, resupplying...etc. I always resupply even if no one asks. I watch what's going on and find the best place to drop something.
I get few requests for anything. If there is a request and I cannot provide it, I help them anyway I can (such as help find a safe place) till I can hook em up!
Many rounds where I helped bring a losing team to victory or at least close.

I'd rate myself a 3, I'm usually playing at late night with my g/f sleeping in the bed so there goes the communication other than enemy water vehicle spotted. I usually dont give orders because they allways annoy me when I'm playing, I know what to do {cap flags & kill}.
I do give UAV's to the people making a difference & they usually get the supplys as well.
My arty skills needs work, I allways seem to place it too late or just a little off.
I get bored of commander after 1 or 2 rounds, more so when were losing.
I dont have the 1337 skillz of flying a chopper or plane while in the commander screen or taking vehicles you guys otherwise need.
I know I need alot of work in this area but it just isn't fun enough for me to care all that much about it right now, I'm a grunt damn it!
Oh yeah I stay in the commander screen.

Average, I do the basic stuff...place UAVs in heavily populated places and arty, follow the requests of players like supply drops, vehicle drops etc.
I don't really spot enemys unless i'm in a clan war when I scan...just a little to annoying spotting them all

7/10 because I sometimes have to cap the flags myself because my retard team is busy whoring around with enemy vehicles.

I have been playing some games that you have commanded.

You never spot a single enemy with SCAN.
You keep fighting and running around while commanding.
You send a one man squad to attack a flag that is crowded with 10 enemies and do not give UAV support.
You drop Vehicles on enemies while ignoring your teams requests for vehicles.
And then when someone is ignoring your NOOB orders you keep spamming "YOU HAVE YOUR ORDERS SOLDIER".

Do us all a favor and STOP being commander. You are 0/10.

I say 9.  Why not the golden "10" ?  Because not everybody is listening to me ingame.

6 'cos I dont talk to squads as much as I should.  My arty usually just misses them.  Rarely do I notice squads asking for items, what am I looking for?  And I find unless it's a city map, im probably more effective as a usual team member. I find I command better if I can camp somewhere or stay back at the main.  The only time I attacked all round as a commander the team ripped into me even though I was doing a good job.

I should re read the commander guide again and again until I have perfected it.

5, i listen to squad requests, and answer them whenever possible, need to work on arty placing though, usually don't pre judge where enemies might move to well enough. Plus the only reason i've ever commanded is for the badges.

I would say I'm an 7/10 because i don't use team speak but i always put my team first.I try to spot for everyone without annoying my team too much and i never use the uav for my own amusement.Thats what the scanner is for.I try to use my best judgment when calling in arty strikes so i don't team kill and i try to cover as many flags with the uav instead of just putting it directly over one flag.

Commander score rank: 3,881

Edit:I had to lower my rate from 8 to 7 cause I'm hell on wheels as a tank commander and i sometimes get flamed for it in game. What am i supposed to do when i see something going down close by and there is a shiny unused apc just sitting there?

I consider myself a good commander, lets say about an 8.
Im good at keeping the mainbase, like Gatehouse Karkand and Mosque Jalalabad.
My arty doesnt really kill the wrong ones ever, and predicting where the enemy will go is easy.
Supplys are NOT for tanks only, so people are happy about my commanding most of the time.
Some say I fight to much being commander, but it think I should be doing a little defence work (not going to waste an arty strike on 1 enemy taking a flag, ill just kill him myself )
