I prefer the P-90 although i havn't had the chance to unlock it yet, i have had a goot run with it from picking up a persons kit the long clip and red dot sight are all quite effective for the medium range attacks obviously nothing compared to the DAO at close range but then i don't really like the BF2 shotguns, if i was playing Halo then Shotgun ftw along with a sniper, perfect combo..

DAO all the way, if some is a few meters away, most people grab their pistol caus thye think the DAO insn't accurate anough...wrong! just pump all u have in ur magazine

The P90 is a pos, it's not terrible at medium range but the accuracy basically sucks. I'd rather use my pistol at range than that thing. And up close against an alleyway full of opposition it's hard to beat the DAO.

I noticed a lot of you have mentioned reloading with DAO, but there is a small trick u can use here folks:
Just switch weap to the pistol if you need to stop reloading, then do a quick switch back. You stop reloading and can start shooting again

just played some more on the new patch and p90 is better than ever
definitely the P90 now after the newest patch. I absolutely hate the DOA. if there is one nub gun in bf2, the DOA-12 is it. oh, and a little trivia. IRL the DOA is used to shoot things like tear-gas and the like, not bullets.
It really depends on the situation for me. If I know I'm going to be facing infantry at a long range, I'll take an SMG because it will be easier to hit them with it. But if I'm going to be in some CQC, I'll definitely take the DAO.

P90 pwns the dao and there is nothing the shotty lovers can do about it. But of course that is my opinion. lol

if you want to be up close an personal, go dao 12, it obliterates all up close
if you want to be close, but like more shooting and may need long distance, go p90
p90 is better overall, but if ur good with a pistol (for distance) go dao 12

The Dao was my first unlock and I loved it. But as I was a rooky I was died a lot.
Even though the AT is my most played class, the P90 was my last unlock (50'000 score). And I have to get a feeling for the weapon first, before rating it finaly.

I've been using the P90... you just need to get used to its recoil
My favorite kit is Anti-Tank, all I use is the P90. I love the gun, has a much better range then the DOA-12 (which IMO is also a decent gun) The accuraccy is also pretty good as far as Im concerned.
