BF2S Forums Rocket Hopping???

Ah my clan did a little testing on this, and they found that tank v tank, it is better to have a AT sitting in the gunner and hop out, shoot a rocket then hop back into gunner than to have an engineer

Yeah, if you are in a tank it is wise to be Engy or AT. I've had a few instances where I was engy and no other engy was around, and Im not getting out of armor to repair just to have my armor stolen (I've done that a couple times -stealing armor whilst engy is repairing thinking no one is around). So I usually go AT. But if I see another engy in armor I will be engy also as we work togethere as a team is supposed to.

I noticed alot of people nowadays like going sniper in the tank that way they can hit the tank with thier .50cal and scratch the tank a little and die as the tank driver runs them over laughing. Might as well use a knife to fight a tank because anything other than AT or Engy is useless -- you can argue Medic or Support for the point whores but tank to tank (like you are supposed to do ) you wont survive without a cannon as backup.
