I used to like GNR...theyre a bit stale for me now. Pre 1996 they were good.
They were always a chick band, I liked heavier stuff such as obituary, sepultura & decide, guys in my school who listen to that crap got their arse beat.
I was never really into Guns 'n' Roses, but really hated the whole G&R revival where all these thirteen year old pricks insisted on being their all time biggest fans.
In fact I hated the whole old-rock revival thing that happened. It's okay if thirteen-year-olds don't like Pink Floyd or The Who, they were popular way before you were born you don't need to like them, but next time you profess to love everything that is Who, remember who fucking Pete Townshend is!

In the early '90s all they played was "Sweet Child O' Mine"; I just wanted to throw my 8-track out the window! They were a Top 40 band, a chick band if that! The best thing that happened to G and R was Slash effing Pamela video.
I was in Metallica, Alice Cooper back then.. and don't even talk about the '80's, its too funny. The 70's for me was even funnier band wise. Anybody remember Exodus or Ratt or Twisted Sister?

as far as im concerend the 'new" guns n roses is just a coverband that plays the real guns n roses original songs
Up to spaggetti Incident G 'n' R were brilliant the illusion albums were amazing, not as raw as Apitite but far more accomplished with the extra instruments used in each track

Never really a big fan of Guns n Roses. I enjoy my hard rock too, they just never appealed to me.
