Just had the biggest waste of a round so far, but strangely at the time I thought I was being genious.
As it happens we were on Dragon Valley (I think, not familiar with all the maps yet).
I noticed that the USMC side was having a high turnover of planes, that is no one could fly them and crashed every 5 minutes.
That gave me an idea, I was missing out on loads of kills from those pilots and I wanted to solve it.
I ran to the edge of the map in front of the Essex, and spent a good 5 minutes swimming to the damn thing. Finally I managed to jump aboard, the other team, being too busy bunnyhopping like mad all over the deck waiting for another plane to inevitably spawn 30 seconds after the last one took off, didn't notice me casually strolling down to the other end. I didn't even have to sneak or hide.
Made it to the second phalanx gun and tried to jump in.
I couldn't get in.
I was so disappointed after spending such a long time trying to make it there, that I couldn't steal a phalanx gun.
Made up for it by simply killing everyone waiting for a plane, made up for it in a small way. Especially since no one noticed they weren't team kills and kept spawning and waiting.
