Yeah, there's no server on today. This is unfair bullshit for those of us that don't give a flying fuck about Boycott day, now everyone's forcing us to participate, this is really fucked up.

Well.... a long time ago, I stated, that a boycot is doing squat... The game is already paid for, the expansions are already paid for.... so who do you think would care at EA or DICE? Noone.
Boycotting BF2142? With millions of potential customers... how much would a boycot of a few thousands be noticed? Not really at all.
The latest patches did change several things on the game... I have been playing this game since 1.03... and frankly... none of the changes really affected me to the point at which I would say, I stop playing the game. Actually, most of the changes I like.
I made observation, that most people who bitch about the changes are those who are deprived of their favourite method of point-reaping (aka whores). So what.... there are no helos anymore that take 3 hits from a tanks maincannon to actually be seriously damaged.... there are no planes anymore that are impervious to AA Defenses.... there are no transport choppers anymore that are being used as gunships, noob-tubes are gone, C4 chucking is gone.... the game got more balanced... what's wrong about that?
Personally, I enjoy the game more than before... and frankly, the latest patch has affected my gameplay the least.... It is a pity though that there are so many people who seem to be unable to adapt. You don't like it? Go somewhere else.... most people do not care about the bitching anyway.
