Does everybody cheat to get knife badge?

I hear of alot of guys getting there knife badges by stat padding, does everybod do it? And is there anybody out there who has gotten all of the badges "the right way"? (sneaking up behind people and knifing them on normal servers). I try to do it that way, but its very hard and i have not managed to do it yet.

Does anyone have any tips? And does everyone stat pad to get there knife badge?

no, thats why i only have my vet badge. but now that they've lowered the requirements i should get my expert

ya 18 knife kills in a round is pretty unbelieveable unless you bunny hop prone spam and do the knife in the air trick

its pretty easy to get it, ive got expert because youll only need 100 knife kills
basic was the hardest to get

Coghs go on knife and pistol server only you will get it in no time,

all tho knife and pistol servers are not allowed, it does not say anything about person playng on it as long as you get what you want and get out so EA don't know about it, whistels

They Removed the IAR Requirments for the knife badges. And i got my Expert Knife badge on a Wake island server as a Sniper. I knifed 18 people, then kept going and got around 30 + people and had a KDR above 2
I was knifeing the people walking from Beach to Airfield, Lots of good hiding places by the AA/wreaked plane just east of the Beach.

It's not hard if you get the tricks down and start early in the round. I like full Karkand as MEC. Hide around corners and chase people down...lay on top of dead bodies and stab the medic when he tries to save his buddies. You can get 4-5 knife kills in a minute sometimes.

Sober enough to know what I'm doing, drunk enough to really enjoy doing it

Not everyone pads to get their knife badges. Read the other 50 posts about knife tactics on this forum and in no time you'll be pressing 1 instead of blowing people away.

I almost got my legit, then they changed the requirments, but Ghost town is probably the easiest to get it down. you just got to sneakly climb up the middle flag and knife the snipers and other people up top.

I actually have an expert but I didn't cheat, I just ran around as a sniper and knifed people from behind in a smaller game.

I got mine when i was doing a knife-movie, before 1.3, got 20 knife kills in a round.

I just ran like hell and tried to stab people by jumping out from behind corners. Quite fun, really. And the amount of support guys back then made it even easier.

Yeah, I got my expert on a 64 man with 20 people in it. The round lasted forever and I had plenty of time to get 18 kills.

The medic trick is the best, 2 knife kills in one shot.

Well my basic was legit... and that's all I got.

Wonder if two people chosing to only use k/p in a regular map against eachother continuously is wrong?say you get a friend... you know. But the key would to do it in the thick of battle so you gotta worry about other players. Don't think that would be padding. Not sure.

Expert knife badge is one of the easiest ones to get. You dont run around with a knife, you run around with a gun to get behind the enemy, then u pull out the knife when u see a noob lookin the other way. Running around for the entire round with a knife is suicide.

When you have basic and vet expert is pretty easy so I got 18 kills IAR pretty easily.

partly true. the IAR requirements were removed for Veteran and Expert, for Basic they were not. You still need 7 kills (i think) IAR.

Yep, me too, definitely possible, though most of my kills were charging people with assault rifles, none of this pansy sneaking around.

Edit: To Jamdude, actually, I ran around to whole time with my knife out and came out with a positive k/d.

Got mine the legit way pre 1.3, after a server crash. Ran and knifed as a Medic, I think. It helps to be able to revive after having recieved that .50 caliber in your foot when the sniper suddenly turned.

Nope. Got my Expect in 1.22, making 19 knife kills in a round.

Nowadays, it's very easy. Once you get your Basic, just stab someone now and then. After a while, you'll have it with none of those actual IAR challenges that seem to have created a mass of Pistol/Knife Only servers...

I got my Expert Knife pre-1.3 so I'm a happy camper. The round ended just as I got my badge though, so no screeny for me.
