I hold my hands up...I love watching people run when the Ole tin can comes around the corner...they think they are safe...boom...HESH up your ass...then I get c4'd from not paying attention...!!! Karkand and surge seem to be the only maps where you can survive in a tank for a while!!.....

Get over it. The tanks are there for a REASON. Dont like it? Get in your own tank and piss the other team off.

When you dont like tanks and the vehicles then play bf2max. It is BF2 but without any vehicles and no Commander it is an infantry only mod for Battlefield 2. Try out and dont wine about the tanks
If you've got a vendetta against armor, go play an air map, and freaking rape the tanks to kingdom come with an attack chopper or something. works for me

i sometimes have ppl with a normal gun just shooting me whilst in a tank and it aint that hard to run away from armor ..bunnyhop
im not saying that i hate the game because of it, im just saying that armour is annoying when youve only got assault rifles, pistols and grenades.
You know the funny thing about you noobs is you always complain about us being in armor, i just wanted to say we own you on foot as well, except ecr.rc and maybe a few others...
and remember we were a noob once as well and hated the armor, but now we know exactly were to go and how to survive with the armor, when we are on foot.

You can kill tanks with grenades, you just need to either have a support guy nearby or be a support. It helps if the tank driver isn't too bright.
I've killed tanks before by lying prone on top of the building overlooking the square in Karkand and just throwing grenades down as the tank tries to cap it.

On occasion I can get one in 2 shots but its usually closer to 3 and by then my dumbass is dead.

I need to get better at staying in a tank and not dying. I am lucky to get a couple of kills before my tank is blown up.

#2 armour is there for a reason, to take out other armour, but there are little guys called infantry that run around aswell, and you don't really expect the guy in there to let you live do you?
#3 true, 99.9% of tank drivers on Karkand are pussy point whores, but if you don't like it, play a different map, or a different game
#4 it seems like you've used armour for awhile aswell, did you get out when you saw an infantry guy so you could be fair? yeah, didn't think so...

...I hate armour too (unless I'm the one inside it) which is why there is almost nothing in the game that is as fun or satisfying than a successful sneak/C4/get away/kaboom on a tank that's been raping your spawns. Not just because of the dead tank driver, but because you "stopped the innocent slaughter of your fellow soldiers." Hehe. Yeah, armour can be frustrating, but it makes killing them SO sweet and satisfying. Removing armour would make the game rather 'flat' and IMO a bit boring. To sum it up, if you hate 'em, spawn as Spec. Ops or AT and do something about it. I promise, the adrenaline rush will offset your frustration.
