Ok I can get on BF2 no problem and play no problem MOST OF THE TIME. Sometime the second I hit join game or what ever its says BF2 shuts off and it goes to my desktop. Sometimes when I'm on the game and playing it will freeze for 30 seconds and sa conection problem. WHY WHY??

I even reinstalled it twice and patched it all again. It was working fine the last patch. MAYBE its 1.3

You answered your own question its patch 1.3

Mines the same never had any problems with previous patches, but this one i get connection problems and CTD's quite alot. Also servers crash pretty often. 

EA/DICE do somethin FFS

I get the same problem, WTF? whats going on?????????? I have no idea. i just get random

typical EA/DICE claim to fix one problem, create 10000^99999999 more.

it's the noobs over at ea and their noob 1.3 patch.  Usually, they do a good job at fixing bugs in previous patches but then a new bug will come as always.

hit Escape instead of Join, FUCK EA

*****EDIT****

If you click on Mr Join button, and you crash to the desktop, then simply hit the little button on most common keyboards that says "ESC" its in the upper left hand corner.   i've never had a problem by hitting escape to enter a server and that is for the dude who gave me -1 because i failed in explaining properly to those who lack common knowledge of the basic keyboard.
