Now, there was thread a while back on this but it never really got anywhere, anyway..
Which are you people going to buy Quake Wars : Enemy territory from the wonderful ID software, splash damage and Activision, or stay true to EA and Dice, and the bugs, the crashes... never mind....
After thinking about it I've decided I'm going to get Quake Wars, EA/Dice have let me down with their so called patches so I'm moving on to greener pastures. Whilst the game play may stay similar as These videos show, i feel that more attention and care has been put into it's making, for the vehicles each wheel, thruster, anti-grav pad and hull plate has its own physics, meaning that you can shoot off parts of a craft without completely destroying it, you could destroy a thruster making a ship dangerously unstable and forcing the pilot into making a crash landing or shoot the wheels of a Quad bike sending it into a spiral.
The way you spawn is interesting as well, instead of re-spawning at a base miles away from the action you are re-spawned in transports that take you directly to the action, no messing around waiting for vehicles to spawn or 10min journeys across the map, no, now you travel in style.
The classes are relatively the same, the strogg Medics have the interesting ability to Stroggify humans and turn them into spawnpoints. And as with Battlefield 2142 the Sniper and spec-ops are combined..
Anyway, whats your opinion and what are you, if any, going to get?
Edit - Typos
Some info incorrect
