BF2S Forums proof ea doesnt look at this site??

Its probably sposed to deter people from going on k/p servers. Because he was at the top, it sets an example. EA is obviously more concerned about the top 10 being legit. Theres too many people that have been on k/p servers to just go around deleting them all.

Are you serious?  Knife KDR is to show how many times you have been knifed compared to how many times you have killed the enemy with the knife.  That is in no way promoting stat padding.  BF2S gave us the ability to search all of our available stats, it just happens that Knife KDR is one of them because its a weapon and is tracked by EA's stat servers.  Same as a pistol, M16, PKM, Type-85, L96A1, G36c and so on and so forth.  It's ludicrous to think they are promoting padding or that EA could monitor this site to check for padders.  I myself have over 800 pistol kills and both my expert knife and pistol badge both of which were earned pre- 1.3 and I have NEVER padded or played on a knife and pistol server.  Just gotta think before you type because it's obvious you didn't this time.  No worries though I like the thread and the freedom of speech thats what makes this interesting.

EA's ways are different & mysterious to us common folk.

I checked those stats madhadda but I still fail to see how tracking your knife kdr promotes stat padding.  That guy obviously plays K&P servers plus he probably plays with friends because you can tell that by his worst enemy stat.  Yes K&P servers do definitely get you alot of points in a relatively short period of time but does the fact that there are a few K&P servers out there mean they shouldnt track this stat?  I am completely against K&P servers but in no way feel it should religate tracking knife kdr stat.  The only thing that promotes padding is the server itself.

EA Does NOT track what weapon you were killed with.  There is NO stat for that. 

Every "Death" you see in the weapons columns are how many time you have dies while that weapon was In Your Hands. 

I guarantee you I walked into WAY more than 33 Claymores in 500 hours of play....

Having looked at this guys stats, he is blatantly stat padding, but that doesn't mean it was on a K/P server.  over 1400 kills with a knife, but only 10 deaths?  he's doing the old knife/revive gag (look at his total time played, too)

However, the Death aspect of the K;D ratio shows how many times you were killed when HOLDING  A KNIFE, not how many times you were killed WITH a knife.  If someone only ever pulls a knife to stab the sniper lying in front of them and always hits first time, they have a 100% K;D ratio, but that doesn't mean they use K/P servers at all.

I think you guys are missing the point.   The top players in the "Knife Ranking" on this site are obviouse padders.  A high KDR with the Knife indicates knife revive (don't K & P servers have a high percentage of medics).  There have been several threads about the padders at the top of said ranking and EA is not paying attention to the complaints.

Okay,  My response is that they have had this information at there finger tips all along, because if they wanted to reset all the padders it would easy for them to query the database for the info ( they are smart enough to do that) to find all the likely padders and ontop of that they could write automated processes to reset people with padded stats.  If they did reset all the padders there would be a huge back lash from the players.  They only care about people that get reported or are in the top ten (maybe people who use exploits/glitches too, but they get reported or are not caught).

People that have less than some number of knife kills do not show up in the "Knife Ranking"... Chuy also made it so people that have not played recently do not show up in any of the rankings lists on this sight.

THe stat EA needs to look at is NOT the K/D ratio...  Thes the Top Victim/Enemy lists....  THOSE are stong indicatins of statpadding..  ANd most of those guys int he list are out of control.
