I don't beleive it is a ferry service. It's the Navy version of the SAS.......
If they put in ships like Destroyers and Mine-Sweepers, then I forsee a whole new item to 'whore'.

Submarines wouldn't be too hard to implement, they could handle like very slow-moving underwater jets.
I think it would be hilarious if they came up with a fantasy booster pack (i.e. wizards, elves, dragons...). For classes, you'd have Wizard, Thief, Warrior, Cleric...., for vehicles you'd have horses, dragons, griffons... The premise: a rift in the space-time continuum...or whatever...pits these fantasy-type characters against MEC, PLA, or Coalition on various existing maps. I mean, ROFLLMFAO!! You'd have guys in robes and pointy hats wielding staves proning behind barrels on Oman and warriors riding dragons trying to lance J10's on Dalian Plant!! Picture an arty strike on Gandalf and Frodo and Aragorn....getting blown ski-high...their robe/tunic clad bodies ragdolling in all the carnage!!
But they'd not be without their own resources: for instance, the Wizard would be able to go invisible for short periods...imagine the pwnage he could wreak on all the plane-campers....creeping on to the airfield invisible and then blasting some fireballs!! And the warriors would suck at long range, but they'd own in close fighting, what with their long swords and all...

can we be honest.....what are the chances of this happening....im glad i SEARCHED....cuz a friend of mine and i were just talkin about this as a new booster pack....

that doesnt even make sense. We are talkin about ships that cant be taken out by a helo tv missle or jet. We are talkin about adding a naval aspect to the game because you have air battles, and land battles, so why not have sea battles. Its an awesome idea. And if the demand is out there for it like it is for new patches every month...then there is a way for it.
We just need to go about it in a prefessional manor.
