BF2S Forums Stupid question, but I can't figure it out

actually you just need to have the game up to date with the lateset patches and you should be able to unlock it at your next rank. To use it as a default weapon in the sniper kit you need to purchase the "euro forces" booster

I already have unlocked the M95.  Do I have to unlock another sniper kit?

it comes 'free' with euro force. i know that much

It is Special Forces! 100% sure;)

So I can unlock it with SF, but its playable from the start with EF. Correct?

Heres a Quick Guide:

Vanilla bf2 unlocks:

G3 - Assualt
Mk3a1 - Engineer
L85a1 - Medic
g36c - Spec ops
PKM - Support
M95 - Sniper
DAO12 - Anti Tank

SF Unlocks -

F2000 - Assualt
MP7 - Engineer
G36E - Medic
Scar L - Spec ops
MG36 - Support
L96A1 - Sniper   <<<<< so you need BF2:SF to get the L96A1
P90 - Anti Tank

Specical Forces ONLY!! Weapons:

Scar L - Assualt
G36 k - Spec Ops
RPG 7 - Anti Tank

Euroforces ONLY!! Weapons:

GIAT FAMAS - Medic
HK53A3 - Anti Tank
Benelli M4 - Engineer
L85A2 (AG-36) - Assualt
HK21 - Support

But if you have euro forces your default gun as sniper is the L96A1 but only as The Euroforce Army.

Has 1.3 made the tier-two unlocks available to everyone???

Assuming it hasn't, do you have any friends who have Special Forces? Or any cyber cafes locally which have BF2 and Special Forces installed?

If so, log in to your account on the PC, play a little Special Forces and score at least one point. Then once you're back home it'll give you access to tier-two unlocks which you can use in vanilla BF2.
