Hey ppl, us here at www.xtreme-lan.com are setting up a 125 man LaN at the Crown Plaza Hotel in cambridge on the 27th-29th October.
We will be setting up tournaments for CSS , CS 1.6, BF2, COD2 and other games on demand.

sounds cool but think im working those days and plus 35 pounds - thats a bit pricy isnt it??? theres another big lan event in manchester during the summer aswell think there only charging 20pounds max.

Firstly I would like to say sorry about advertising, my fault I didn’t read the forum rules! 

Thing about the price is its are first LAN meaning we are having to get all the networking equipment out right, all the GB switches ect. This is costing about £1,400 and then venue it’s over £2,000 so you can see where the £35 comes from. We will not be making any profit from this LAN and after this LAN the ticket price will be going down to £15-20 because will already have all the networking stuff to provide a LAG free LAN!

So hope to see come BF2 guys at the LAN defo will be having dedicated servers for it provided by us.

why dont you get people to bring there own gear? that would cut costs considerably and i presume there be bringing ther own rigs so what a couples of cables / switches here and there going to hurt
